Subject: RIP Patrick
Body: For those of you who do not know, Patrick was hospitalized early this morning for intestinal pains. After x-rays an infection was found in his kidneys. Rush surgery was admitted. Unfortunately he had allergic reaction to his anesthesia. He could not be saved. I don't really know what else to say, but I will keep you all posted.
RIP buddy...you will be missed :(
Of course the first time it was a single prank on one victim. This time, we'll call him Tom, Tom decided to prank anyone willing to fall for a myspace bulletin.
I got a call at midnight because some one fell for it.
Granted neither Patrick nor myself knew of this prank, but come on! First, do you really think that we are going to have a third party post a bulletin on myspace? And if someone did, don't you think that they'd be a little more heart felt? Maybe I can only see the ruse because I knew for a fact that Patrick was fine.
The most annoying part was who called. What were the odds that they really thought I'd pick up for them? After what has happened between that party, Patrick, and myself? No. I had Patrick call back simply to prevent more phone calls.
So, There you go people. Patrick is very much alive, getting ready to start a great new job, and as far as I know, generally healthy and happy.
But I'd really like to thank everyone's concern for his well being when he really was badly sick.
You care if he's dead, but not so much if he might need someone to drop off some chicken soup.
Now that's devotion.
