Warning, if you didn't watch it, don't read this...I spoil everything!
Wow, did you see that last night? Was it everything we hoped for all summer?
No, but it was still pretty good. I'm a bit disappointed that none of the characters stayed dead. I understand that it doesn't feel good to have your favorite character axed, but on the other hand, it feels way to soap opera-ie to keep raising them from their dooms.
I'm really interested to see how the Hiro thing pans out. I think it's already horribly obvious where that is going. But, I love Hiro so I'm very happy he is getting his very own "coming to" adventure.
As for what occurred in Ireland (it was Ireland right?), sure, we all hoped that the situation was not what it was, but it made sense. That development last night, sure you can pull it off logically, but I don't know. I feel cheated a dramatic death.
Poor Hiro's Dad, he was finally coming back to the light side. Oh well. And Mrs. Petrelli, Oh how I will enjoy her demise.
Lets see...Sorry about Matt and his wife, I guess it had to happen though, who wants to live with a man that can read your mind? besides, that hussy cheated on him.
And beautiful, beautiful Suresh (spelling? eh, it's a blog, sound it out). Clever little thing working with Mr. Bennet.
OMG Claire will have a high school romance with someone who flies just like her daddy! I guess they needed to draw in the teenie boppers. Funny if it turns out to be her brother (Nathan you scallywag!)
Speaking of Nathan, you should be dead too! Where the hell is my tragedy?!
I like the new characters. Hope everyone kept up with the graphic novels over the summer!
Sylar......I'm so pissed you aren't dead...that's what one of the commercials indicated.
He was a great one season psycho. After that its redundant and annoying. I'm ready for that super bad, clever master mind that molly (or whatever her name is) sees in her sleep.
And really, two guys that are trying to save the world have time to raise a little girl? So I suppose halfway through the season we'll get a lesson on DFACS and how to keep a kind of adopted kid.
I don't know. I'm still excited over the season, and I still really enjoyed last night's premier, but I can't help but feel that the sophomore slump is looming ahead, ready to strike. I hope the writers have some serious cadbury bunnies in their hats.
